I love Massage Therapy and am a true believer in the benefits of massage, both physically and mentally. Since graduating from Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2012 I have worked full time in the Massage Therapy industry. My career started out in a Spa then I moved to a Physic Clinic and most Recently I worked at a Multidisciplinary Clinic, all in Regina.
I started up Amy Beitel Massage Therapy in 2014 out of my house one day a week while still commuting into Regina four days a week. After a year I was able to open up another day in Avonlea and cut down on the commuting! 5 years later- February 2019- I am now predominately working in Avonlea with 3 full days and commuting 1 day a week to Regina, I just can't give up my wonderful clientele!
Another big reason to move more of my practice to Avonlea is to have the ability to spend more time as a family. My son Jack who was born in Dec 2017. A big reason I got into massage was for the flexibility once it was time for a family. My schedule will reflect this, these young years go by too fast. I want to be able to savour every minute I can with him. Evenings are family time in my house so I will only be working one evening a week for now.
